Södermalm, Stockholm

This is where my soul truly feels at home.

The world is crisp on the streets of Södermalm this morning. Even the churn of the machine at Drop Koffee has me feeling bright. I love the smell of coffee (despite not being a drinker) and luckily my companions are keen for a sweet drop, so I can indulge my senses to my hearts content.

We are on the hunt for something vintage, something found; something radiating the uber chic scandi style that this neighbourhood is famous for. There is no shortage of haunts to start our scavenger hunt, and we are easily lost to the tempting concept stores lining Götgatan.

Slightly weary from the myriad streets we have explored, we take rest in the green spaces within Mariatorget. Later, as the sun is setting, we stroll languidly towards the bridge to Gamla Stan (the old town). Here we indulge in an aperitif at the local pub and dine on the homely comforts of Swedish cuisine. A perfect end to a sublime day.
